Description

Dedication of Putnam Hill sign during the Connecticut Tercentenary. The sign is designed by George Wharton Edwards and is donated by the Daughters of the American Colonists (Angell Husted Chapter). A group of men, women and girls stand near the sign. Some of the women are in colonial costume. The man holding his hat on his chest is George Edwards.
