Mianus trolley car stopped next to the Samuel Ferris House, built circa 1760, on East Putnam Avenue at the top of Riverside hill. Trolley tracks and electric lines are at the side of the street. The one story, clapboard house has a central chimney and two windows on either side of the front door.
