Description

The steamer "S.E. Spring," a side-wheeler steamboat, run aground on rocks by Mead's Point due to a navigational error; a few days latter a high tide and a tugboat allowed her to be freed from the rocks and resume picking up vegetables from the Lower Landing in Cos Cob and from Greenwich Harbor's docks.
