Visible in the postcard, postmarked 1907 are Main St West, Patton St, and the right of way for Murray St.
On Main Street West are Dr. Alexander's home, Trinity church and the Manse. On the right hand side are eight homes overlooking the Creek and around the corner at the creek is the Lewis Mill (brown building).
Patton St crosses the tracks and curves to the east to connect with Elizabeth St to the lake. The sidewalk along the west side and the Catholic church are also visible.
Murray Street is a narrow pathway. On the west side is Nelles Manor and to the north of it is the Manor farmlands and barns. The Central Public School 1906 (10 Livingston Ave) is on the left hand side; on the right are the HG&B barns.
On the far left is the "hump" bridge over the railway on St Andrews Ave which was torn down in April 1922.
In the foreground, bottom is the intersection of Gibson and Main with the Dolmage house and the roof of the Nellesm Fitch house.Collection
