Jan 29, 1948 Fire at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
A ladder is up to the roof on the left; several portions of the roof engulfed in flames. Person at right assisting an individual and another running to assist. Eighteen patients and babies were quickly removed safely.
It is believed the fire was started by an electrical fire in the walls of the building. Within an hour or so the building was reduced to rubble and could not be saved.Category
