Description

The Cobblestone Lodge was built over the Ofield greenhouse property and sat beside El Rancho Casablanca. It was owned by retired businessman W.O Ullman, and his daughter Dorothy operated as the Motel’s receptionist. By 1949, the second floor of the Cobblestone Lodge main building had seven separate rooms and two baths. At this time, another building was incorporated into the Cobblestone Lodge. This building had “five rooms with two baths and a shower”. Writers from the Independent noted that the rooms at the Cobblestone Lodge were spacious
