View from the Point of Forty Mile Creek, Elm, Mountain, Elizabeth, Main Street West and Depot Street. Elm St has homes on the south side only with a small bridge over Forty Mile creek. Along Main Street West from the far left is the Lewis Mill, Konkles store, Randall house, Mansion House and the tallest building in the village, the Malakoff building. Mountain Street - A few Grout homes on Mountain St south east side, Baptist church at Elm. The Spillette's land on the west side of Mountain St remain undeveloped and the additions to create the Village Inn appear to not yet be in place. Elizabeth street has homes between Adelaide & Victoria but only a few homes on the west side. In the gap between homes was the location of the Green family homestead cemetery. The cluster of buildings around the railway and on Depot street is noted but not clear.Collection
