Looking north on Elizabeth St from Main St West. The home shown on the north east corner of Main and Elizabeth was the Walker residence. Ralph Walker owned several properties in Grimsby. One of them was the early "Ralph Walker Inn" on Main Street in the core of the village, on the east corner, of Elizabeth not shown in this image. Walker's daughter, Elizabeth, married Andrew Randall, and acquired the Inn; it became Randall's Inn and later the Mansion House. Elizabeth, Andrew and their sons operated these establishments for many years. Elizabeth Street was named after Elizabeth Walker Randall.Collection
