James and Richards Theal came to Grimsby in 1910. They had many joint business ventures, the first being a feed mill. The feed mill operation is what is being advertised on this postcard. Their second venture was a bakery business which they operated for a few years. In 1916 they opened a grocery store at 19 Main St W.
