The Parish was founded in 1794 when Andrew Petitt lead the worship for the pioneers of the Forty in their homes. In 1800, Robert Nelles provided the land to build a church. In 1812, appeals to the Bishop of resident Clergy. Stone Church was completed in November 1825. St. Andrew's Church is the fourth oldest church in Ontario.Collection
