Description

The Parish was founded in 1794 when Andrew Petitt lead the worship for the pioneers of the Forty in their homes. In 1800, Robert Nelles provided the land to build a church. In 1812, appeals to the Bishop of resident Clergy. Stone Church was completed in November 1825. St. Andrew's Church is the fourth oldest church in Ontario.
