Description

Interior and exterior photos of Knudstrup Leaded Glass & Gift Shop. The Knudstrup Leaded Glass & Gift Shop was originally the Red Dragon Inn, built by the English Inns Limited Company in 1929. By 1931, the Red Dragon was renamed The Virginian. In the coming years, it changed hands and names various times. In the late 40s it was The Caribou and became popular with local teens. In the 50s, it was owned by boxer Omar Sicard who dubbed the building the Golden Gloves. Sicard sold the Golden Gloves in 1963, where it briefly became known as the Hare and Hounds. It was finally known as Knudstrups Stained Glass Studio. The antique shop was demolished in 2005, despite disapproval from the Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee
