The Radial Village was constructed by Robert Crawford after the Hamilton, Beamsville and Grimsby railways were dismantled in 1931. This unique undertaking was on land owned by Crawford on Main Street just west of Durham Road. He owned the adjacent brickyard. The Radial Village closed down in 1965.
