The Grimsby Beach Bowling & Tennis facilities at the foot of Betts Ave had 3 lawn tennis courts and an adjoining lawn bowling facility as shown here. Grimsby Park programs and newspapers reported on the fine grounds and tournaments over the years. Built and maintained by the Grimsby Beach Cottagers Association, the Grimsby Village Bowlers relocated from their grounds behind the stores downtown to their former competitors bowling greens at Grimsby Beach.Collection
