Grimsby Historical Society Archives
The GHS Archives collection was organized, catalogued and opened as a public service in 1999.
In 2005 the GHS Archives moved into the historic Carnegie Building.
The GHS Archives advocate for the preservation of Grimsby’s history, people, places, buildings, businesses
At the Archives you will find a collection of books, letters, diaries, directories, family histories, photographs, school year books, family trees, land deeds, street directories, maps, personal and family collections, newspapers and other articles and scrapbooks, WW1 collection of Grimsby soldiers and Special Collections from individuals, businesses, community organizations.
The public is welcome to work with a volunteer archivist to do research Monday and Friday’s only 9am- 1pm or by appointment call 905-309-0796
