Two B&W photographs (scans) of 14 Parkwood Avenue: 44: Two girls and a boy standing in front of 14 Parkwood Avenue. 45: Two girls, a boy, and a cow in front of 14 Parkwood Avenue. The boy is the father of Charleston lawyer Gedney Howe. The family kept the cow under the porch of their house.

Context

The house is still there but the porch has been closed in on the second floor. This was the home of the Gedney Howe family. (Details and address provided by the donor.)

Digital images (scans) of a black and white photographs; HCF archivist had 4"x6" print made. Original scan is on CD in file with prints. Scans provided via email on July 8, 2005, by Kevin Eberle, for use in HCF's Archives. He has been collecting photos from different people as he has researched the histories of the individual houses. He has tracked down children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of early owners in this search for photos and has been scanning them for the neighborhood archives.
