Helen A. Romspert Bible
This New Testament was published in 1860 by J. Winebrenner, Harrisburg, Pa. An inscription on the back cover shows Mrs. Helen A. Romspert as the owner in 1880. Another inscription on the next page gives Mrs. Romspert's home as Uniontown, Carroll County, Md. Several devotional cards are inserted in the book presented to Cora Romspert by Fannie I. Davidson, 1881 and to Harvey Romspert, 31 March 1875. A loose paper in the book gives birth, marriage and death dates of James Sylvester Waltz and his wife Cora May (Romspert) Waltz. The names of Helen A. Romspert and Mrs. James Waltz both of Uniontown are inscribed on the inside of the back cover.
