Giannini (1933-2022), Hammonton real estate broker, during the week of the Centennial celebration. The item portrays the front of a mid-1800s men's vest (i.e., waistcoat). It appears to be white cotton cloth. - A permanently attached, 11-inch-long, 5/8-inch wide, synthetic fabric, looped neck strap is at the top.Two 20-inch-long, 5/8-inch-wide, synthetic fabric straps are at the waist for tying on the vest. - The vest is decorated with alternating red, white and blue vertical stripes. - Three 'buttons' are printed down the center (where a real vest's placket would be located). - Two (2) printed 'pocket openings' are at the waist, with a six (6) link 'chain' printed as linking the two pockets across the waist. - A white oval space, 4-inches high by 4-1/2-inches wide is located at the top left chest, with the following lettering in blue printing: "HAMMONTON" in 5/8-inch high letters "1866-1966" in 1/2-inch high letters "MAY 21-28" in 1/2-inch high letters "CENTENNIAL" in 5/8-inch high letters.
