Average Adult Dose: 5-15 drops on lumps
of sugar or in sweetened water. Do not
give to children except as advised by the
physician. Do not use if the oil has
become cloudy. (Keep bottle tightly
closed, in a cool place, protected from

Cough Syrup. Label is white with blue
text. “White Pine Cough Syrup - comp.
With Muriate of ammonia- Alcohol 7
1/2%, Chloroform 4 min. An efficient
remedy for cough, colds, hoarseness and
all affections of the throat and lungs.
Dose- in recent coughs, from one to three
teaspoonfuls as required; in chronic
cases, three to four times daily. Bottled by

Faded label: “Mercurochrome, one half
fluid ounce. Reg ? Pat Off. H.W. + O.
Brand of mecuromin. 2% Aqueous
solution. General antiseptic for first aid.

1111.7.3.22- Vial, small, amber with plastic cap. Label
is marked “POISON” with skull and cross
bones. Yellow and white side labels:
Antidote: If swallowed give teaspoonful
of sodium thiosulfate (photographic
hypo) in water or starch paste, followed
by a tablespoon of table salt in a glass of
warm water, and repeat until vomit fluid is
clear. Give milk or white of eggs beaten
with water. CALL A PHYSICIAN. Uses: for
minor cuts and abrasions: cleanse
affected area and apply tincture lightly.
Do not bandage. Front: “Purepac Iodine
Tincture U.S.D. Alcohol 47% by volume,
Iodine 2%. An antiseptic for external use
only. 1 fluid ounce 121-D”.
Side 2: “Caution: In case of deep or
puncture wounds or serious burns,
consult physician. If a redness, irritation,
swelling or pain persists or increases or if
infection occurs discontinue use and
consult a physician. WARNING: keep out
