2026.17.1- Game of Hammonton- Wheeler Dealer-
unopened, in original plastic wrap. 17” x 11”
The Game of Hammonton- The Hub of
South Jersey.” The first Monopoly-like
board game for Hammonton was
commissioned by the Soroptimist
International of Hammonton. The game
was made by Michael Glenn Productions
using their Wheeler-Dealer game format.
Towns raised money by approaching
local businesses and selling placements
on the board to advertise their goods
and services, no doubt at different levels
corresponding to more desirable
positions on the board. Most of the
leading businesses of Hammonton were
represented. Player tokens were not
individualized for that town, and all game
cards and cash carried Wheeler-Dealer
and Glenn credits.
