Grass Skirt as owned by Joseph Ezzi. The grass skirt was brought back to the US as a souvenir of Joe's time in the Pacific. A life-long resident of Hammonton, Joseph Ezzi (1926-2006) served in the U.S. Navy during World War Il as Ship's Cook Third Class Petty Officer aboard the USS Petrof Bay escort carrier in the South Pacific.
