Description

"Across the Sea," words by Mark G. Bunce and music by Anna Denkhaus, published by Bunce, Los Angeles, 1918. The patriotic war-time piece is in "con spirito" tempo over two pages of a score. On the front are photos of Bunce, in the uniform of the "Half Century Home Guard," Denkhaus holding a lyre and Bunce's son, M. J., serving in the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe. With some small tape-repaired tears at the bottom, creases, yellowing and light soiling, the general condition is good.
