Description

Color: Black; Blue; Red; White; Yellow "Import Bulb Catalog," issued by the Wayside Gardens Company, 1926. The 31-page booklet has a white paper cover with a color drawing at the top of the front of a garden with many flowers and bulbs at the foreground. At the right of the background behind a tree is a brown house. Listed at the left of the bottom are the names of the bulbs in the illustration. At the right of this is the title and name of the company. All of the lettering is in black. On the back is a color-tinted photograph of a garden with the name of the company across the center of the bottom. At the beginning of the inside are instructions for the planting and growing of bulbs as well as a special offer. There are a wide variety of flowers available for sale with names like Darwin, Zulu, Viola, Eros, and California, among others. At the back is a timetable for the planting of plants and bulbs. There are many black and white drawings and photographs included. With abrasions, creases, surface soiling, light stains, and small tears, the object is in overall fair condition.
