Description

Color: Black; Green; Red; White A general catalog issued by Geo. A. Clark and Son, 1926. The 588-page artifact has a red paper cover with the name of the manufacturer at the front across the center of the top in white ink and against a black rectangle. Below this is the address and above is, "PROMPT / SHIPMENTS / DEPENDABLE GOODS." The date is at the center of the bottom in black. All of the printing at the front is against a green background with the same design also on the back. The name of the company is also on the spine and along the edges of the pages. An envelope is adhered to the inside of the front cover, where a price list, which is item .2, was housed. At the beginning of the inside is a title page and an introduction to the company. Goods available for sale include a variety of farming equipment such as windmill force pumps, grindstones, tools, cultivators, and much more. Some plumbing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and pipes are also available. At the back is an index and many order blanks. Included throughout the book are many black and white photographs and illustrations. With abrasions; creases; dents; fading of the lettering on the spine; folds; surface soiling; stains; and tears; the object is in poor condition.
