"FASHION WEAR QUALITY HOSIERY FOR MEN AND WOMEN"

"Fashion Wear Hosiery for Men and Women," issued by the Fashion Wear Hosiery Co., 1925. The 16-page catalog has a green paper cover with an illustration of two woman's legs in hose at the center of the front. Across the top of this is, "IT'S A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION." Across the bottom of the illustration is, "WHEN THE WEARER BUYS 'DIRECT'," with the title at the bottom of this. At the bottom of the front is, "YOU SAVE A FEW DOLLARS / IN JUST A FEW MINUTES." All of the printing on the cover is in black. On the inside of the front cover are facts about the product and on the first page is a list of prices. A variety of hosiery is listed throughout the artifact with each listing including a swatch sample. At the end is a guarantee, a size chart, and instructions for salesmen. With creases, dented corners; pressure sensitive tape at the top of the front; a tear at the top; and warping, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
