A black and white studio portrait of Emma Eustace Cupp, Los Angeles, December 1907. Emma is seated on a chair with carved heads on the seat back posts. She wears a light colored blouse with dark patterned sleeves and colar and she holds her gloved hands clasped against her right cheek as she looks and smiles at the photographer. She also wears a hat with dark feathers and a white decorative element at the right side. Her name is in ink at the bottom and the date is in ink at the top of the reverse. Hartsook was the photographer and studio. With heavy foxing, soiling and stains, the condition is fair to poor.
