"California Horticulturist and Floral Magazine," Vol. 6, No. 7 (July 1876), published by John H. Carmany & Co., San Francisco. The periodical is a general magazine for farming, landscape gardening, and related topics, consisting of articles, essays, reprinted items from other publications, and advertisements. On the front cover is a pencil inscription ascribing ownership to Mrs. Leland Stanford. The wrappers have small tears, creases, stains, and soiling, and there is a piece missing at the right side of the front, while pages are generally clean, so the condition is poor.Lexicon
