Description

A photograph, "No. 9 2-18-21 Loew's State Theater Bldg.," George F. Adair, Los Angeles. The view is taken from an elevated position, perhaps from a nearby building, and shows the site with its excavated basement and lower levels, partial steel framing and other elements of construction. Portions of nearby buildings are in view, inlcuding the Bullock's department store structure at the upper left. The caption at the lower right also lists the architects, Weeks and Day and Reid Brothers and contractors MacDonald and Kahn. Adair's stamp and an ID stamp are on the reverse. With foxing, stains, soiling, creases, and edge abrasions, the overall condition is good.
