"Nature Magazine," March 1929 issue (Vol. 13, No. 3), published by the American Nature Association. On the top of the front cover, which has a black background, is the title in large yellow letters and at the bottom are the issue date and price, volume, and number. An image of four swans on a grassy outgrowth near a Spanish Colonial Revival style house in a tropical setting covers much of the cover. The issue features articles on such topics of reforesting, the Olympic Mountains; scientifics surveys of snow; the Aztecs of Mexico; birding in France; state flowers; the conflict of private land and national park creation; and others. There are many black and white photographs and some color drawings, as well. At the front and back are many advertisements. The artifact is in good condition, though there is a bulge at the spine, some creases at the spine and covers, dents on the spine, discoloration at the covers, losses at the top of the spine, scratches on the cover, stains on the cover, and spine tears.Lexicon
