Description

Color: Blue; White "Oil Bulletin," Volume 11 Number 6, issued by the Chamber of Mines and Oil, Los Angeles, June 1925. The artifact has 132 pages and a white cardstock cover which has the title, publisher's name, and the date at the top of the front in blue. At the center is a dark and light blue advertisement for the Trumble Gas Trap Co. A blue and white border is around the front. On the back is a dark and light blue illustrated advertisement for the Wilson & Willard Manufacturing Company. At the beginning of the inside are advertisements, an index to advertisers, a listing of the Chamber of Mines and Oil officers, and a table of contents. Included in the issue are editorials and articles on California's highways; picnics in the oil country; the second Pacific Coast Safety Conference; changes in California refinery production statistics; California and United States petroleum production statistics; and more. A buyers' index is at the end. Many black and white photographs are included. The object is in good condition with minor abrasions; light creases; dented corners; light pest damage to a corner; small stains; and two small tears.
