"Publix News," 26 November 1926 (Vol. 1, No. 7,) Metropolitan Theatre, Los Angeles. The program has a composite of the "average young woman patron" at the theatre. Inside are short essays about film news; showings at the sister Million Dollar Theatre; a holiday contest held at the Metropolitan; the program including live music, newsreels and the feature "The Popular Sin;" another contest in the form an essay on the best film and stage presentations seen at the theatre during the year; and a poem about Eddie Peabody, the King of the Banjo.
