Description

Color: Black; Green; Red; White "Mc Call's," published by the Mc Call Company, November 1928. The magazine has 150 pages. The title is across the top of the front cover in green. At the center of the cover is a color illustration of a woman wearing a black hat and a red dress that has fur-lined cuffs. In the background is a painting of a woman. At the bottom of the cover are the title of an article and "also a New Story by Zane Grey." Also included in the issue are many short stories and articles on women playing golf; voting strategies for women during the 1928 presidential election; actress Jessie Bonstelle; current events; reading; music for preschool children; beauty tips; home-heating systems; cookery; baking; child health; automobile costs; parenting; artificial greens for Christmas decorations; breakfast selection; motion pictures; fashion; and more. There are also many photographs, color illustrations, and advertisements for home-related goods such as medicine, food, and house furnishings. With creases; dented corners; some soiling; a purple address stamp; small stains; and small tears, the artifact is in fair condition.
