"Little Marion Parker" b/w "Six Feet of Earth," performed by Vernon Dalhart on the A-side and Dlahart and Carson Robison on the B-side, 12429, Perfect Records, recorded 9 March 1928. "Little Marion Parker," written by Bill Barrett, commemorated the 1927 murder of a girl in Los Angeles by William Hickman, who was later executed for the crime. "Six Feet of Earth" by the McCravy [misspelled McCravey on the record) Brothers, Frank and James, had been recorded by the two for Victor in July 1927 and were well-known for their 1929 song, "Will The Circle Be Unbroken." Dalhart was a very popular singer during the 1920s in what could be viewed as part of country music genre. The label has almost no indication of wear and the condition is assumed to be good, though Perfect records are known for low quality.Lexicon
