"From Soup to Dessert with Minute Tapioca," published by the Minute Tapioca Co., Inc., 1928. With 32 pages, the booklet has a yellow cardstock cover with a netting design made up of blue criss-crossed lines. At the center of the front in yellow letters, within a blue box, are the title and the name of the publisher. Within a blue bar across the bottom, also in yellow letters, is "VARIETY AND SUCCESS IN COOKING." At the beginning of the inside are a guide to the book, an introduction to the revised edition, and an introduction to the dessert recipes included. Besides recipes for desserts, such as cakes and pies, there are also recipes for soups; vegetables; fish and meat; egg and cheese dishes; and sandwiches. Also covered are other uses for tapioca, its function, its value as a carbohydrate, and its use in child-feeding. Some black and white and color illustrations are also included. There are only light creases on the cover of the artifact which is in very good condition.Lexicon
