"Radford Doors", a catalog issued by the Radford & Wright Company, 1926. The 16-page booklet has an image of a dark brown door on the left side of the front, with the catalog name in brown and yellow at the upper right and the company name and city of business at the lower right. The inside of the front cover is a statement on the doors and wood products offered by the company and the first page is a longer description of the company and its products. This is followed by color-drawn samples of the Aristocrat and Pilgrim lines of doors, giving the type of wood for the door and trim and the finish, as well as available finish options. Line drawings of household scenes accompany these descriptions. Page 7 shows a section view of a door to demonstrate the quality construction and gives dimensions of Aristocrat doors. Pages 8-9 constitutes a fuller promotion for the Aristocrat line of doors with promotions of its features. There is also a section view of the Pilgrim door on page 14, but no full-sized promotional section as with the Aristocrat. Page 15 shows a variety of veneered doors, which were cheaper and of lesser quality than those doors shown earlier, while the following page shows Aristocraft and Pilgrim french, front and mirrored doors. The inside back cover is an advertisement for the built-in woodwork catalog available from the company and has a color image of a built-in dining nook. With some fairly extensive surface soiling, a few creases and some small stains on the cover with creases and some soiling on the pages, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
