"Nature Magazine," January 1929 issue (Vol. 13, No. 1), published by the American Nature Association. On the top of the front cover, which has a white background, is the title in large orange letters and at the bottom are the issue date, volume, and number. An image of a ship model on a table top with candles, a lantern, and a book with orange stars on a blue background is at the center. Articles include such topics as dogs; the Caribbean; weasles; birds; falcons; forests; mice; flowers; zoos; and space. The magazine is well illustrated with black and white photographs, though there are some color drawings, as well. At the front and back are many advertisements. The artifact is in good condition, though there are some creases, light soiling, folds, and small edge tears on the cover, and some page yellowing.Lexicon
