Description

A can of "Monarch Cocoa," manufactured by Reid, Murdoch & Co., Chicago. The four side panels have identical imagery, including a lion in a circle at the center, the product name and the company name, founding date of 1853, and city of business. At the bottom of each panel is the name of a branch city, including Los Angeles. The lid has "Quality / for 70 years" on it. With rust, pitting, scratches, and other wear, the overall condition is still good.
