Description

Color: Black; White A 78-rpm recording including "Indigo Stomp" and "Blue Piano Stomp" written by Johnny Dodds and performed by the Johnny Dodds Trio, recorded February 7, 1929 and July 5, 1928, respectively, and reissued under the Bluebird subsidiary of RCA Manufacturing Company, B-10238-A and B, ca. 1936. The records has the RCA/Victor logo, showing Nipper the dog listening through a victrola's horn, the label name, the identification number, song title, the songwriter's name, artist, performers (clarinetist Dodds, pianist Lilian Hardin Armstrong, and an unknown bassist), licensing and patent information, and company name and city of business. In good condition, the item has label abrasions and record surface soiling and scratches.
