"PAINTING THE CLOUDS WITH SUNSHINE / TIP-TOE THRU' THE TULIPS WITH ME" Color: Black; White A 78-rpm recording including "Painting the Clouds with Sunshine" and "Tip-Toe Thru' the Tulips With Me," written by Al Dubin and Joe Burke and performed by Jean Goldkette and His Orchestra, issued by the Victor label, 22027-A and B, 1929. The label has a scroll-patterned border with the letters "VE" at the top and bottom; the logo of the company, showing Nipper the dog listening through a victrola's horn; the label name; the identification number; indication that the songs were fox trots; that they were from the motion picture "Gold Diggers of Broadway"; song titles in English and Spanish; songwriters' names; artist; and company name and city of business. In good condition, the item has label creases, fading, and light surface scratches to the record grooves.
