A sepia/black and white photograph of Native Americans dancing at Coupeville water festival 1935. Spectators gather, sitting or standing, in a circle around the dancers. Most of the dancers are boys, mostly clad in headdresses, loincloths and sandals with bells around the ankles. Two boys stand across from an adult male, fully clad and a more elaborate headdress and pole, whilst other boys wait some distance away perhaps stamping their feet.Collection
