Scope and Content

Autograph book owned by Miss Laura E Abbott of Coupeville. Stained and worn cover- light brown with inscribed ferns in gold stemming from it and inside are birds, sea and ship with a buoy and lighthouse. Indented design also on the back (fading red colour). Paper is foxing. Contains a dried apple blossom on one page. She has signatures and little notes from relatives in Vermont and elsewhere. 1886 Walter Crockett signed, as did Charlie Crockett, Alice Putnam and one of the Hancock clan.
