Description

Gun powder horn - goes with musket donated prior (2015.090.001). Horn came with Frances Lesourd (the first) when he arrived in 1850's. Cow horn is carved on one end with ridges with the other end having a wooden attachment/cap. A leather cord is tied to both ends of horn. Ridged end of horn also has the carved wooden cap piece attached with string - the cap fits into the hole in the tip of the horn. Donated by Mark Bantz.
