In 1949 there were some small cabins on the beach of the Clinton Ferry Landing (left side as one was making the crossing from Mulkiteo to Clinton). My family trented on of those cabins when my Mom and Dad were working the concessions on the ferries. Are there any photos showing those cabins during that time?
The Cozy Tavern (Clinton) was owned by Dick Hawkins around 1950. I believe that the name of the tavern during that time was Dick's Tavern. The tavern is located at the top of the hill (right side) as one exits the ferry. Is there any information about Dick and/orrr the tavern during that period? My family purchased a brick home directly across the street from the tavern. The house was relocated quite a long time ago.
