This is a correspondence letter from Sharon Edwards outlining the details of each photograph that she sent. 1. 1946 Ferry Concession Menu that her mother and father retained from working on ferry concessions. Primarily the ferry that ran getween mulkiteo and clinton inf 1946.

3. Postcard of the Bainbridge ferry.
4. 1949 - Brick house that was our familly home in Clinton. It was located on the hill at the top of the Clinton ferry landing; left side of the street and directly across from Dick Hawkins Cozy Tavern.
5. 1950 First Day of school at Langeley Elementary. Pihoto of Sharon G. Klones ages 6) and brother Daryl B. Klone (age 7).
6. Deer Lake Resort
Opening Day of Fishing: April 14, 1957
James Klones 1850-1958; James was born in Gavalamouri, Crete in 1883. He died in 1958 and the property was sold at that tiime. He is buried at Langley Cemetary. James lived a colorful life. When he was 16 year of age he left home and jjoined the Merchant Marines. After immigrating to the U.S. he settled in Seattle, WA, married and had 4 children. He owned a small grocery store in downtown Seattle and in 1950 bought Deer Lake Resort.
The photos which were taken 4/7/1957. The sign hanging on the right side says: "Help yourself to a cabin or boat. $1.50 to $3.00 per day. Back soon. Register your liense. Not responsible for accidents on the property.Lexicon
