Scope and Content

This photocopy of a newspaper article highlights the Wallie V. Funk photography exhibit at the Island County Historical Museum 11/1997. The subjects of Funk's photos ranged from the terible round-up of killer whales in Penn Cove in 1971 to the last roundup of cattle on Whidbey Island in 1967, from the faces of island school children to those of President Richard Nixon and his attorney general John Mitchell, and the Beatles and Rolling Stones.
