Description

Aerial photograph of Oak Harbor and Ault Field Air Station (center background). A newspaper clipping from the Sunday, Jun 21st, 1959, edition of The Seattle Times is pasted on the reverse. It details the "Come Home, Ducks" project which was set to restore parts of the military base to public hunting, where a great deal of waterfowl resided. This resulted in the Oak Harbor Game Management Area, a wildfowl habitat.
