"Cornet" postcard- of Cornet Bay, used postcard stamped "Cornet Wash" "Jul 30 1915" 1 cent green US postage stamp, addressed to Ruth Ellis, from Ruth Hailey. Hailey tells of "having a swell time" and asking Ruth to come. The front has a red and green pole and flag. Middle of flag is "cornet", slogan "Why Don't You Come Over to [Cornet] And Make Us A Good Visit". Below the flag and slogan is border of red and within this border is a picture (tinted, black and white) of a man leaning across a stone wall clutching a hat and staring at a lady opposite. The lady is in a red dress and large white hat and holding (shielding her face) a fan as she leans along the wall. Trees in background wooing scene.Made/Created
