Scope and Content

Letter dated Febury (sic) the 1st, 1974 or 1876 (unlcear on the last digit) from Coupeville. From Becca Leanning (?) to Maty Chase (?). Some in ink, some in pencil. Many grammatical and misspelled words. Mutual friend of Ida, Cora and Florence. Her dad had picked apples and sold them. Mentions school and an exhibition (was sick and did not go). Their mothers have not written but send greetings. Presents - dress at Christmas, comforter and bureau. No snow but warm. They have a place up the river. Did not get to the beach (beech) to get sea moss. Wants Maty to come live nearby. Shells, stones and sea moss on the beach.
