Postcard depicting Coupeville High School and combined Grade School, built 1943. Photo c. 1955. Postcard addressed to Miss Anita Toles and Mrs. O.D. Smith, Eastland Hotel, Portland, Maine. There is another address listed at the top of the postcard which reads, "Route 1 - Box 495, Coupeville, WA".
The reverse of the postcard reads, "Dear Gran & Aunt Anita, Sorry I haven't written sooner but we have been so busy getting settled in our new home. We have a 3-room house and are gradually getting it fixed up so that it really looks nice. This is the school where we'll be teaching beginning the last of this month. I imagine you're having lots of fun together. Love, Anita & Jack."Collection
