Black & white postcard photo of the Fabers clearing land. The picture shows two men with a team of two horses chained to a large tree stump. They are clearing stumps from a large tract of land. One man is in overalls, suspenders, and a cap. He is holding a long-handled tool in his hands. The other man is in long pants, a sweater, and a brimmed hat. The side of a cabin/barn is in the distance on the right side.
On the back side of the postcard is written, "Fabers clearing land Swantown". The name Betty Faber is hand written on the top, and Dorothy Neil Collection is stamped on the side.
Based on the stamp box (AZO 4 triangles pointed up), the postcard is from 1904-1918.
