On the back is handwritten note "Photo of one of the original copy of Fifty Years Ago by Flora A.P. Engle. Written in 1916 or 1917. Flora arrived on Whidbey in early 1866. Given to my father, Will Engle by his grandmother. Joanne Engle Brown.
